Sundar Shadi Award gardens 2025

Our annual Sundar Shadi Award is given for front yard gardens that are visible from the street and delight passers-by! The award is in honor of Mr Shadi, whose beautiful “Persian carpet” gardens and home-made Nativity scene on his property on The Arlington were such a gift to the community every year. The winners get a nifty sign to put in their yard, a small cash gift (to buy more plants!) and a year’s membership in the Garden Club.

This year’s winning gardens can be seen at 1216 Norvell, 752 Richmond, and 7307 Eureka.
